There is a bus that leaves every thirty minutes and goes to the main bus station for 30kn. This is way cheaper than the taxis. Take it!

Some of the duty free items are cheaper than other European airports. The fig biscuit is only €3 for 400g pack - slightly cheaper than in the supermarket in town

We had a long layover coming in from Dubrovnik and on the second floor right near the elevator are some reclined lounge chairs - slept for 3hrs! Also great restaurant on 2nd floor

To avoid the sudden 1 km check-in lines during holidays in an otherwise quiet airport, make use of the web check-in. Really saves you a lot of hassle.

This airport is simply unreliable, from the late opening hours of the bank office, to the random baggage drop-off counter availability, to the incompetetent and lethargic security screening staff.

Coffee is not so good, but it is very expensive, like everything else at the airport bar. The whole terminal is small and outdated, can't wait for the new terminal to be finished. :)
