One of the most famous bridges in London, you get a wonderful scenic view of Elizabeth Tower and the houses of Parliament. Usually a heavy flow of tourists here too.
Great spot to take pictures with London Eye (especially in the evening). Generally, this bridge is so full of tourists, it is so hard to walk sometimes.
The lion sculpture was once painted red and stood over the Red Lion Brewery on the South Bank in the 18th century. When the area was redeveloped in the 1950s the lion was saved and moved here.
