The Ryal Pailace o El Pardo is a pailace an historic building near Madrid, Spain, in the present-day district o Fuencarral-El Pardo. It is owned bi the Spaingie state an administered bi the Patrimonio Nacional agency. The pailace began as a ryal hunting lodge. It became an alternative residence o the keengs o Spain until the reign o Keeng Alfonso XII o Spain, who died in the pailace in 1885. Generalissimo Francisco Franco lived in the pailace after the Spaingie Ceevil War. Since Francisco Franco's daith, it has been used for a visiting heads o state.
