Book on a tour of the tower, you get to see un-restored rooms and the view from the top is fantastic.

You must not miss a visit to here - It is not an understatement to say that this place is utterly amazing! For starters its a carvers Delight, this is just the stairway! ????

Book a roof top tour when you enter the great hall. Takes 45min through closed rooms to 100ft high roof- best part of visit. 180 steep steps. Min age 12 (10 worked too)

The cafeteria is totally slow motion ,wait while the old folk take 15 minutes to choose which soup & 15 minutes while the dopey young staff serve it.
