Pasargadae (frae Auncient Greek: Πασαργάδαι frae Persie: پاسارگاد - Pāsārgād) wis the caipital o the Achaemenid Empire unner Cyrus the Great wha haed issued its construction (559–530 BC); it wis an aa the location o his tomb.
Unlike Persepolis, Pasargadae has been destroyed so badly that it is really hard to imagine what it looked like 2500 years ago. The mysterious winged man relief is one of the few remnants of a palace.
