The island o Delos (Greek: Δήλος]; Attic: Δῆλος, Doric: Δᾶλος), near Mykonos, near the centre o the Cyclades airchipelago, is ane o the maist important meethological, historical an airchaeological steids in Greece.
A must see. Buy tix on the dock (cash only) or online (cc) for the boat. Entrance tickets not included (regular $12, students $6). Allow time - 2 hrs is almost not enough. Bring water & comfy shoes.
Get the map from the museum that gives you the 3 circuits and the time for each. Make sure you climb to the highest point for a breathtaking view! Careful of the wind though.
Bring water (caffe only had Gatorade and sparkling water) and a hat preferably, as there are no places to hide from the sun apart from the museum, caffe and entrance.
Take a short boat trip to see one of the most important spiritual sites of classical Greece. Don't forget to visit the Archeological museum. Bring plenty of water, sunscreen and a hat.
